AcidFrac accurately calculates fracture conductivity in carbonate rocks, optimizing acid treatment processes and improving the efficiency of well operations.
That calculates acid fracture conductivity in carbonate rocks based on input parameters such as physical and chemical properties, hardness, and confining stress acting on the formation as well as the acid treatment volume.
The application produces conductivity curves as a function of confining stress based on the following four well known acid frac conductivity models:
The AcidSurface software maps the surface of a rock sample before and after it is subjected to acid treatment. The results help determine the amount of rock consumed by the acid treatment, which is then used to build mathematical models based on solubility parameters to predict conductivity of acid fractures.
This application was developed for use by Petrobras in lab tests and is particularly useful to develop fracture conductivity correlations similar to classic acid fracture models, such as Nierode & Kruk and others.
The SP3D software is a simulation tool developed for Petrobras. The application goal is to provide CAE support on Hydraulic Fractures design and analysis tasks.
Therefore, it provides tailored UIs design for each support operation related to Hydraulic Fracking. For instance, Mini-frack, Pressure test, Step-rate test as well as Fracture Design.
Regarding Fracture behavior, the numerical kernel is based on a pseudo-3D fracture geometry model. Further on, an optimal computational architecture covers different fluid loss models, resulting in realistic volumetric efficiency values in regards to low permeability reservoirs.
The application imports operation logs (flow rate and pressure over time). Regarding usability, the tool is equipped with an easy-to-use UI, providing engineers a seamless tool for dealing with Hydraulic Fracturing studies.
