The Brazilian energy sector recently reached a historic milestone, as Equinor and partners such as ExxonMobil, announced first oil from the Bacalhau field, located in the Santos Basin.
With more than 1 billion barrels of recoverable reserves, a production capacity of 220,000 barrels per day, and one of the world’s most modern FPSOs, Bacalhau represents one of the most significant offshore developments ever executed in Brazil.
